Mark was born and raised in Baltimore, MD where he and his family attended a large Baptist church in the Perry Hall area.  He started on a journey to a reformed understanding of the scriptures some time in 1999 and, in 2001, he relocated with his family to the St. Louis area for work.  After visiting a few local Baptist and non-denominational churches, they attended a PCA church about a mile from their house.  When they left, he looked at his wife and they both said, “We’re home!”  In 2005, he relocated back to the east coast where they began attending Christ Our Hope Presbyterian Church in Wakefield, RI and was ordained as a Ruling Elder in the PCA in 2010.  He lives in Warwick with his wife, Ruth, of over 30 years and has four daughters and eight grandchildren (and counting!). Mark’s passions include running, reading, basketball, studying God’s Word, craft beer (IPAs), discipling men and spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren, which includes a set of identical twin boys.
