Introduction
The Triune God proclaims His glory through His creation:
1. The heavens declare the glory of God. (v. 1)
a. This proclamation is joyful to the justified, but dreadful to unbelievers (Rom. 1:18-21)
2. This is a never-ending and universal sermon. (vv. 2-4b)
a. Likewise, the Gospel is to be preached always and universally. (Rom. 10:18)
3. The sun spreads its light and warmth everywhere in the world. (vv. 4c-6)
a. Christ is the light of the world and will be the light of the New Jerusalem. (John 8:12; Rev. 21:22-23)
